Les fablabs sont des lieux ouverts de fabrication et d’expérimentation. Ils utilisent des machines à commandes numériques. Si des recherches récentes venant d’horizons disciplinaires différents commencent à documenter ces lieux en expansion, peu d’auteurs se sont demandé à qui s’adresse réellement ces nouveaux espaces créatifs. Nous proposons de définir les fablabs par rapport aux structures existantes d’accompagnement dans 6 recherches récentes. Les résultats montrent la faible occurrence du mot « entrepreneur ». Cela s’expliquerait par l’émergence des figures moins classiques de l’entrepreneur comme l’entrepreneur hybride et indépendant. Cette nouvelle réalité (re)met en avant la dimension subversive de l’entrepreneuriat. En bref, l’entrepreneur dans les fablabs n’est pas celui que l’on croit et ne fait pas ce que l’on attend.
