La cultura de la crueldad y el ethos de superviviencia del mas apto, en Estados Unidos, es la nueva norma, y una consecuencia de ello es que la democracia esta al borde de desaparecer o ha desaparecido. ?Donde estan los agentes de la democracia y de los espacios publicos que brindan esperanza en estos tiempos oscuros? Muchos estan en las escuelas publicas – aun con mas razon hay que elogiar a los docentes y defender la educacion publica y Superior como un bien publico.
