Abstract
Le 9 et 10 thermidor an 6 (27 et 28 juillet 1798), une grande fête se tient à Paris pour marquer l’arrivée tant attendue du troisième convoi d’objets précieux saisis lors de la campagne d’Italie (1796-1797). Ce butin contient plusieurs œuvres phares de l’histoire de l’art appelées à garnir le Muséum central des arts. Cet article explore le rapport unique aux objets d’art, fondé sur l’émotion, que tente d’instituer l’Entrée triomphale.
