Abstract

Cet article vise à mettre en perspective le travail de médiation du patrimoine de l’aluminium qui est mené sur le territoire arvidien et, plus particulièrement depuis 2010, dans le cadre du projet Mémoires d’Arvida né d’une initiative du Comité pour la reconnaissance patrimoniale d’Arvida. Le cœur de la démarche est constitué d’une collecte de témoignages et de sa valorisation numérique. À cette entreprise principale, se sont ajoutées plusieurs activités de médiation, animations et expositions, qui ont mobilisé les citoyens autour de leur patrimoine. Après avoir dressé un premier bilan des interventions menées dans l’espace urbain et sur le territoire numérique, nous pourrons ensuite évaluer les effets du travail de médiation sur les liens que les citoyens entretiennent avec leur patrimoine et plus encore sur la communauté qui se forme autour de celui-ci.
