Parcours phéno-génératif et sémiotique de l’espace dans Le Mont Damion d’André Dhôtel : vers une spaciose du sens

Abstract
La thèse que nous soutenons dans cet article défend l’idée selon laquelle il existe, dans une perspective phéno-générative, un schème spatial directionnel au sein du roman Le Mont Damion par André Dhôtel (1964). Il s’agit d’une structure d’ensemble élémentaire qui oriente, dans un procès de signification spatial complexe, une axiologisation des dispositifs spatiaux et qui se décline en configurations spatiales directionnelles plus élaborées, configurations axées sur la catégorie [route]. Nous avons réalisé cette étude en sémiotique de l’espace post-greimassienne en partant d’une sémantique textuelle – inspirée des travaux de François Rastier – appliquée à l’oeuvre dhôtelienne. Le phénomène sémiotique majeur mis ainsi en exergue a été nommé spaciose du sens, ou sémiose spatiale, pour reprendre des termes proposés par Jacques Fontanille.
