El presente articulo presenta y analiza la manera como el derecho quebequense protege la libertad de expresion en el marco de las relaciones colectivas de trabajo, a luz de la Carta de derechos y libertades de la persona, de su interpretacion por parte de los tribunales nacionales y de la doctrina especializada. Se aborda, en primer lugar, como el derecho nacional define y protege la libertad de expresion. En segundo lugar, se analizan los alcances de la proteccion acordada a la libertad de expresion de los trabajadores en el marco de las relaciones colectivas de trabajo, particularmente a favor de los dirigentes sindicales, asi como la tutela de su ejercicio colectivo (piquetes), teniendo en cuenta los limites que derivan de los deberes de lealtad y de obediencia. Finalmente, se trata la cuestion del ejercicio por parte del empleador de la libertad de expresion en el contexto de sus interacciones de naturaleza colectiva con los trabajadores, especificamente en los momentos de la creacion de un sindicato, de la negociacion colectiva y de la aplicacion de la convencion colectiva del trabajo.
