Abstract
El chile es una de las hortalizas de mayor tradicion en nuestro pais, porque esta considerado como alimento basico dentro de la dieta de los mexicanos, ya sea para su consumo en fresco o procesado. Ademas, es de gran importancia economica por la gran cantidad de jornales necesarios para su cultivo. Los modos de produccion son muy variados, sin embargo, en los ultimos 10 anos ha tomado gran auge producirlo bajo condiciones de invernadero con fertirriego, ya que se obtienen mayores producciones y de alta calidad para exportacion, principalmente a los Estados Unidos y Canada.
