Abstract
À partir d’une enquête ethnographique réalisée au sein des espaces ruraux russes, j’analyse les supports et les ressources que les individus en situation de pauvreté possèdent pour faire face aux aléas de la vie quotidienne dans un contexte social marqué par la précarisation de l’emploi et le désengagement de l’État. Deux variables seront au coeur de mon raisonnement : la famille et la terre. Grâce à ces notions fondamentales, pour comprendre les transformations profondes que connait le monde rural russe contemporain, j’examine différentes figures du précariat rural et prolonge la réflexion entamée par Castel concernant la représentation de l’« individu par défaut » (2009).
