Abstract
L'auteur présente les raisons, qu'il cherche, paradoxalement, dans l'esprit tribal, que pouvait avoir un jeune Tunisien de sa génération de voyager et, finalement, de s'installer au Canada. Il rappelle des images de la prime enfance. Il y voit la recherche d'informations, une attirance pour des modes de vie inconnus venus d'ailleurs, ces informations aboutissant à une formation, la recherche en soi d'une identité plurielle, mais aussi un échange avec les personnes rencontrées, ce qui s'exprime par le plaisir de vivre pour finalement témoigner de ces expériences dans un écrit. Tout voyage est ainsi un voyage au bout de soi.
