Apitherapy; refers to the use of bee and bee products as a complementary method of application for the protection and treatment of certain diseases. The main bee products to be used in treatment of ailments are honey, wax, bee pollen, propolis, bee milk (royal jelly), bee air, apilarnil and bee poison.Scientific data, which is increasing day by day, draws the attention of the medical world and attracts societies on this subject. Rapidly spreading bee products and treatment methods which are being used for well being and treatment of certain conditions especially in United states and Eastern countries are rapidly growing in the world.
