Abstract
Meedoen in de samenleving is wat bijna iedereen wil. Dit geldt zeker ook voor kwetsbare Rotterdammers. Dit vraagt veel inzet van kwetsbare Rotterdammers zelf, hun familie, vrienden, vrijwillige en professionele organisaties, maar ook van de gemeente. Het is belangrijk om te weten hoe de zelfredzaamheid van kwetsbare Rotterdammers zich ontwikkelt, om te weten wat werkt en om te weten waar mensen behoefte aan hebben. De gemeente Rotterdam laat daarom op verschillende manieren onderzoek uitvoeren naar de ontwikkelingen in het sociale domein. Doel van het onderzoek ‘Kwetsbaar en krachtig 2’ is om de ontwikkeling in de zelfredzaamheid en participatie van kwetsbare Rotterdammers over een langere periode te volgen. Onder kwetsbare Rotterdammers verstaan we mensen met een verstandelijke of psychische beperking, mensen met een lichamelijke beperking en/of chronische ziekte en ouderen vanaf 75 jaar.
