Abstract
Les comportements-défis présents chez certains enfantsayant un diagnostic du trouble du spectre de l’autisme (TSA)engendrent des difficultés et se répercutent sur leurfamille. Un des moyens pouvant soutenir ces familles est la formationparentale. Cette étude vise à évaluer les effetsd’une formation parentale francophone offerte à 49 parentsd’enfants ayant un TSA québécois etfrançais. Au terme de la formation, une réduction descomportements-défis est observée cliniquement.Parallèlement à cette réduction, les comportementsde communication et de socialisation s’améliorent. Lesrésultats montrent qu’il est possible d’implanter leprogramme avec des résultats équivalents dans descontextes d’intervention distincts.
