Abstract
L’objet de cette recherche est de comprendre, dans le champ institutionnel de la grande distribution française, les stratégies carbone mises en place par les distributeurs intégrés Auchan, Casino et Carrefour. En croisant la théorie des cités de Boltanski et Thévenot et l’approche néo-institutionnaliste, nous étudions les discours et les pratiques sur la sobriété carbone. Ces apports théoriques sont, ensuite, mobilisés afin de comprendre les comportements et les stratégies mis en oeuvre par la grande distribution en matière de sobriété carbone. Enfin, une discussion est proposée sur la place que les distributeurs intégrés accordent au problème plus global du changement climatique.
