La mise en œuvre en officine, de soins pharmaceutiques orientés vers les personnes mineures, résulte notamment de la conjonction de l’évolution des exercices professionnels et de la modification de la place des mineurs au sein du système de santé. L’influence réciproque du droit, de la pratique ou encore de l’éthique forme le terreau d’une recherche juridique et clinique pour un accompagnement approprié des mineurs, par les pharmaciens d’officine. La réflexion pour l’optimisation des soins et services proposés aux adolescents conduit à anticiper les difficultés pratiques et juridiques liées à l’accueil et au suivi de jeunes patients. Une étude de droit comparé entre la France et le Québec, entre deux modèles de sociétés qui présentent une langue et une histoire communes, mais se distinguent par le mode de prise en charge des mineurs, apporte un nouvel éclairage pour l’adoption de normes professionnelles appropriées. Les pharmaciens québécois peuvent notamment surveiller une thérapie médicamenteuse, ajuster une ordonnance médicale, prescrire un traitement ou une contraception d’urgence à une personne mineure d’au moins quatorze ans, sans le consentement des titulaires de l’autorité parentale.
