Comment enseigner la gestion de la musique ? Quel dialogue peut-on engager entre la pratique et la recherche dans ce domaine ? Et quels sont les enjeux auxquels il convient de préparer les futurs administrateurs de la musique en France, et ailleurs ? Juriste de formation, responsable du Master « Administration et gestion de la musique » de l’UFR Musique et Musicologie à l’Université Paris-Sorbonne, et directeur adjoint de l’Institut de Recherche en Musicologie (IReMus), Gilles Demonet, revient sur son parcours de directeur musical et d’universitaire. Ce faisant, il partage sa triple vision d’acteur culturel, de chercheur, et d’enseignant, sur l’histoire, le fonctionnement et l’avenir des marchés de la musique vivante.
