Abstract
Cet article souligne la pertinence de la théorie de l’attachement dans la question du \nplacement en famille d’accueil d’enfants en difficulté. Les résultats présentés sont issus d’un \nprojet de recherche visant à accroître les connaissances sur les familles d’accueil au Québec. \nL’un des objectifs de l’étude était d’explorer les caractéristiques des mères d’accueil, \nnotamment leurs représentations en regard de l’attachement, afin d’en faire un portrait \ndescriptif. Les résultats mettent en lumière une grande proportion de mères avec des \nreprésentations d’attachement non résolues, proportion comparable à celles retrouvées parmi \nles populations cliniques. Les enjeux entourant ces résultats sont discutés.
