Abstract
Cet article met en évidence l’intérêt d’intégrer une perspective féministe matérialiste à l’analyse des cadres de l’action collective, à partir de l’étude du discours révolutionnaire de la gauche radicale égyptienne. Une telle approche apporte des éléments de réponse au fait que la révolution égyptienne ait accru la visibilité politique des femmes, sans toutefois parvenir à ébranler les structures patriarcales. En explorant les liens entre les stratégies discursives de représentation de la révolution et la dynamique des rapports sociaux de sexe, cet article montre que la construction d’un sujet révolutionnaire faussement universel, occultant la pluralité des catégories mobilisées, entrave la possibilité d’une lutte portée par les femmes au sein du mouvement révolutionnaire plutôt qu’à sa marge.
