Abstract
Le fonctionnement du monde repose sur notre consentement, le plus souvent implicite et inconscient. Pourtant, ne serait-il pas temps de ROMPRE? De briser ce consentement et d'agir des maintenant pour construire cet « autre monde possible » ? Voila ce a quoi nous invite Dominique Boisvert. Apres avoir cible quelles sont les sources du pouvoir, il demontre comment s'articule notre adhesion (in)volontaire au discours dominant, avec lequel il est imperatif de rompre. Argent, vitesse, propriete, guerre, individualisme, competition, (sur)consommation, travail, technologie... autant de themes et d'institutions sur lesquels se penche l'auteur pour explorer de nouveaux rapports au monde. Avec optimisme et determination, il donne ainsi corps au cri que tentent de faire entendre les « indignes ». Parce que la rupture est aussi la possibilite d'une ouverture. Dominique Boisvert est membre fondateur du Reseau quebecois pour la simplicite volontaire (RQSV). Avocat de formation, il a travaille en milieu communautaire dans les domaines de la solidarite internationale, de la defense des droits humains, de la paix et de la nonviolence. Il est l'auteur de « L'ABC de la simplicite volontaire » (Ecosociete, 2005).
