Abstract
Les Wayùu de Colombie accordent au rêve des vertus prédictives. Ils estiment ce faisant qu’il est possible d’adopter un point de vue éclairé sur des évènements n’étant pas encore advenus. Je propose d’analyser les ressorts de tels présupposés, au regard des conceptions qui gravitent autour de l’expérience onirique. Cet article montre ainsi que loin de reposer sur une version déjà écrite de l’histoire, la plausibilité d’un regard projectif renvoie plus fondamentalement à des conceptions du rêve et des évènements tels qu’ils sont précipités par des esprits ou des entités intentionnelles. En cela, l’interprétation des rêves ne fait qu’actualiser un engagement symptomatique dans le monde.
