French Abstract: Compte-rendu d'une piece de theâtre de Nini Belanger et Pascal Bruellmans, Beaute Chaleur et Mort, presentee au Theâtre la Chapelle, Montreal, du 19 au 29 janvier 2011. La piece s'inspire de l'experience intime des auteurs confrontes a la mort de leur enfant nouveau-ne. Le compte-rendu explore les techniques mises en oeuvres dans la piece pour exprimer la difficulte de la situation tout en evitant le pathos. Belanger et Bruellmans decrivent leurs demarche comme relevant d'un certain 'hyperrealisme' et le compte-rendu esquisse une explication des implications de cette etiquette. English Abstract: Review of a play by Nini Belanger and Pascal Bruellmans, Beaute, Chaleur et Mort, Theâtre la Chapelle, Montreal, January 19-29, 2011. The play is inspired by its authors' experience with the death of their newborn child. The paper explores the various techniques and mechanisms deployed to depict and convey such a difficult situation while avoiding pathos. Belanger and Bruellmans describe their artistic project as 'hyperrealist' and the review attempts to unpack the meaning of this label.
