Abstract
EnglishThis Communication seeks to situate the concept of social responsibility in the social work domain, based on theoretical approaches to ethics and with reference to the challenges of the Global Agenda. The construction and analysis of conceptual maps supports the discussion of the relevance of an education strategy for citizenship in building the practice of social work. The results of this analysis reinforce the potential of educational strategies for citizenship in the development of an authentic practice in social work. Procura-se, atraves da construcao e exploracao de mapas conceptuais discutir a relevância de uma estrategia de educacao para a cidadania na construcao da pratica do Servico Social. Os resultados desta analise reforcam o potencial das estrategias de educacao para a cidadania no desenvolvimento de uma pratica autentica no Servico Social. Este trabalho permite concluir que uma estrategia de educacao para a cidadania podera apoiar a autenticidade da pratica do servico social, bem como sistematizar implicacoes para a formacao inicial dos assistentes sociais.
