Abstract
Le présent texte interroge les nouvelles technologies sur la scène en regard du paradigme posthumain. Dans un premier temps, en nous référant au concept du postmodernisme d’après Lyotard, nous démontrons que le posthumanisme est une extrême-variante du postmodernisme. Au regard de cet examen, la continuité technologique de ces deux paradigmes induit leur mise en rapport avec notre corpus d’étude. Dans un deuxième temps, nous analysons plusieurs spectacles montréalais et européens, tels qu’Inferno et Versus, où les dispositifs occupent une place fondamentale. L’hypothèse qui sous-entend cette étude est que l’utilisation des dispositifs scéniques complexes conduit à une autre forme de coprésence, laquelle s’inscrit dans la fusion des technologies et de l’humain. En dernier lieu, nous développons un cadre conceptuel qui aspire à la légitimité théorique des tendances théâtrales analysées dans l’article.
