Abstract
Cet article est le fruit de la rencontre de deux chercheurs, issus de formations distinctes, l’une en anthropologie, l’autre en cinéma, et de leurs réflexions sur le développement d’un partenariat de recherche avec des communautés autochtones du Brésil et du Canada. Leur principal objectif est de nourrir un dialogue toujours en processus sur leur travail de collaboration en termes d’approches participatives. Leurs objectifs, souvent communs, témoignent aussi de la différence de leurs approches, d’où l’importance de la dimension comparative engagée tout au long de cet article. La création, ici en cinéma, se veut un outil de transmission culturelle où les membres des communautés autochtones sont les acteurs et auteurs de leurs produits de diffusion.
