Abstract
There continues to be an extensive concern about bullying in schools; this is not surprising, given the plethora of negative outcomes associated with both bullying perpetration and victimization that have been documented in nearly 50 years of empirical research. More recently, bullying scholars have emphasized that bullying is a complex phenomenon that requires a much broader examination than is usually available from single disciplinary or theoretical viewpoints.
