Abstract
O objetivo do estudo foi avaliar a estrutura, o desenvolvimento e a funcionalidade da família que convive com a hipertensão arterial. Trata-se de um estudo qualitativo, desenvolvido junto a duas famílias, em que foi utilizado o Modelo Calgary de Avaliação da Família. Este propõe a utilização de três categorias de análise: estrutural, desenvolvimental e funcional, e dos instrumentos genograma e ecomapa. As duas famílias são nucleares, porém, uma é formada pelo casal, e seus três filhos são casados e residem em outros domicílios. A outra é monoparental, constituída pela mãe e pelos filhos. O filho casado reside em outra casa, no mesmo quintal, com esposa e filha. A aplicação do modelo de avaliação familiar permitiu conhecer aspectos relacionados à estrutura, ao funcionamento e ao desenvolvimento das duas famílias, que interferem, dificultam ou favorecem o desenvolvimento do cuidado no cotidiano. El objetivo del estudio fue evaluar la estructura, el desarrollo y la funcionalidad de la familia que convive con la hipertensión arterial. Se trata de un estudio cualitativo, desarrollado junto a dos familias en que fue utilizado el Modelo Calgary de Evaluación de la Familia. Este propone la utilización de tres categorías de análisis: estructural, del desarrollo y funcional; y de los instrumentos genograma y ecomapa. Las dos familias son nucleares, sin embargo una está formada por el matrimonio y sus tres hijos son casados y viven en otros domicilios. La otra es monoparental constituida por la madre e hijos. El hijo casado vive en otra casa en el mismo patio con esposa e hija. La aplicación del modelo de evaluación familiar permitió conocer aspectos relacionados a la estructura, funcionamiento y desarrollo de las dos familias que interfieren, dificultan o favorecen el desarrollo del cuidado en el cotidiano. The objective of the study was to evaluate the structure, development and functionality of the family that suffers from arterial hypertension. This is a qualitative study, developed with two families using the Calgary Model of Family Evaluation. It proposes the use of three categories of analysis: structural, developmental and functional, and the use of a genogram and an ecomap. The two families are nuclear, however one is formed by the couple and their three sons who are married and reside in different homes. The other is a single-parent family established by the mother and children. The married son resides at another house in the same backyard with wife and daughter. The application of the model of family evaluation allowed knowing the aspects related to the structure, operation and development of the two families that interfere impair or favor the development of the care in their quotidian.
