Le déménagement de l’actuel dépôt archéologique départemental vers un immeuble plus approprié de la zone Saint Charles, à Perpignan, nous a remis sous les yeux une tuile canal de toit, ornée d’un intéressant motif schématique peint au lait de chaux, que nous avions recueillie sur un tas de gravats et de déblais de maçonnerie, à l’époque déjà lointaine où nous étions conservateur en titre du musée de préhistoire de Tautavel (ill. 1).
