Abstract
La poétique leclézienne est ici interrogée dans sa dimension politique et morale. Au cours de la période 1963-1975, Le Clézio est préoccupé par la recherche d’une forme scripturaire capable de connecter sensiblement les signes et le monde, qu’il appelle « écriture-action ». La métaphore du sismographe développée par l’écrivain dénote la dimension indexicale prédominante de son écriture qui, consciemment médiatrice, se reconnaît comme moyen et forme de vie. Ancrée dans une sémiotique réaliste, celle-ci vise à reterritorialiser la langue pour susciter chez le lecteur une conscience d’ordre politique et moral (qui concerne le vivre-ensemble et les moeurs) : la reconnaissance du bien commun du monde.
