Abstract
Diferentes discursos de internacionalizacao do ensino superior expressam posicoes ideologicas que concebem a educacao e a ideia de bem comum de formas distintas. Comecamos esse artigo analisando contrastes ideologicos na literatura sobre internacionalizacao e suas implicacoes. Em seguida, problematizamos a forma como a internacionalizacao exporta um imaginario global que promove uma narrativa unica de progresso e desenvolvimento humano. Por ultimo, apresentamos o caso da UNILA como imaginario alternativo de internacionalizacao voltada a justica cognitiva e social. Concluimos o texto com reflexoes sobre a internacionalizacao no Brasil partindo da valorizacao do ensino superior publico frente a aceleracao da comodificacao da educacao no contexto internacional.
