Abstract
I examine representations of mathematicians and mathematics in the short film All is Number. The film represents a positive response to calls in the literature for more diverse representations of persons doing mathematics and presents a pedagogical occasion that seeks to challenge under-represented cultural identities while utilizing aspects of the economy of looking and consuming of the tourist gaze (Urry, 2002) to create visual access for diverse audiences.
