Abstract
La vie comme l’œuvre de Pierre Molinier sont liées dans la quête constante d’un état de plénitude assimilé à l’androgynie et à une sexualité libérée de toute contrainte. L’artiste opère incessamment une déconstruction et une reconstruction de son propre corps. Niant réalité anatomique et catégories de genre sexuel, il imagine des créatures désirantes qu’il incarne et raconte. Sa vie et son œuvre s’entremêlent dans une constante recherche de volupté et dans la satisfaction de ses désirs fétichistes, tournés vers les jambes et le travestissement.
 En rejetant un système binaire et normatif, tant dans son existence et ses pratiques sexuelles que dans leur mode de représentation, Molinier construit un langage de l’intime et du corps, alliant mascarade et subversion, et érige la fluidité en tant que principe élémentaire. Les images et les discours qu’il produit apparaissent aujourd’hui comme précurseurs d’une conception queer de l’identité, des corps et des sexualités.
