La gouvernance communautaire en milieu francophone minoritaire s’érige sur des assises qui sont parfois fragiles. La crise récente à la Société de l’Acadie du Nouveau-Brunswick (SANB) a mis en lumière les tensions au sein de la gouvernance acadienne entre les intérêts des citoyens et ceux des organismes sectoriels. Dans notre article, nous analysons ce cas afin de mieux comprendre cette tension qui est coeur de la gouvernance acadienne au Nouveau-Brunswick. Il s’agit d’une étude exploratoire qui s’appuie principalement sur une recherche documentaire et sur nos observations effectuées pendant notre travail de soutien à la SANB dans le cadre de sa récente restructuration. Ce cas montre qu’il peut être difficile de concilier une vision citoyenne et une vision organisationnelle (sectorielle) de la gouvernance communautaire.
