Abstract
This epilogue touches on qualities and interests that have so far evaded the contributions in this anthology by the author. Peter Grabosky&s;s engagement with all the authors&s; research on regulatory theory, policing, violence and cybercrime has been extensively covered, however the extraordinary diversity of Peter&s;s work and experience is perhaps less on display. In reflecting on Grabosky&s;s contribution to the study of crime and regulation, there are references made by the author regarding his work: murder-suicide, community policing and peacekeeping, Aboriginal deaths in custody, and explanations for the comparative variance in penal punishment. Grabosky served on the light cruiser USS Providence from 1966-1968, which had been refitted and commissioned as a guided missile light cruiser in 1959. His collaborative orientation and willingness to learn along with his students made for a generous and egalitarian atmosphere. It is this spirit that animates this anthology.
