Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

This epilogue touches on qualities and interests that have so far evaded the contributions in this anthology by the author. Peter Grabosky's engagement with all the authors' research on regulatory theory, policing, violence and cybercrime has been extensively covered, however the extraordinary diversity of Peter's work and experience is perhaps less on display. In reflecting on Grabosky's contribution to the study of crime and regulation, there are references made by the author regarding his work: murder-suicide, community policing and peacekeeping, Aboriginal deaths in custody, and explanations for the comparative variance in penal punishment. Grabosky served on the light cruiser USS Providence from 1966-1968, which had been refitted and commissioned as a guided missile light cruiser in 1959. His collaborative orientation and willingness to learn along with his students made for a generous and egalitarian atmosphere. It is this spirit that animates this anthology.

Fetched live from OpenAlex and de-inverted. Abstracts are not stored in this database: the inverted indexes are 8.6 GB of the frame’s 9.3 GB of text, and the host has 13 GB free.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
