Abstract
Quel rôle la Francophonie peut-elle et doit-elle jouer face à la crise du multilatéralisme, et dans quelle mesure cette dernière lui offre-t- elle l’occasion de se redéfinir ? Cet article identifie les défis qu’affronte la Francophonie et les atouts qui la placent en bonne position pour contribuer efficacement à redéfinir la notion de gouvernance multilatérale dans un cadre complexe, pourvu que certaines conditions soient remplies, comme délaisser une Francophonie négative, développer une organisation orchestratrice, stimuler une gouvernance ascendante et transversale, s’imposer comme une source d’idées et d’expériences, encourager l’expérimentation, et se construire une niche institutionnelle.
