Abstract
Pendant plus de vingt-cinq ans, Julie de Belle a enseigne dans divers milieux au Quebec, mais aussi dans le Grand Nord et en Chine, tant du cote anglophone que franco- phone – au primaire, au secondaire et au collegial. Elle nous propose un passionnant tour d’horizon de ce qu’on appelle le monde de l’education, soulignant les avantages et les desavantages d’un systeme en souffrance dans lequel enseigner se resume parfois a en saigner... Un livre-confidence truffe d’anecdotes et de descriptions palpitantes : situations reelles, conversations entre colle- gues, difficultes diverses des etudiants, abus de pouvoir de certaines directions, moments marquants de l’histoire de l’education au Quebec, comme le boycott etudiant de 2012. Une irresistible invitation a enfin penetrer les coulisses de l’enseignement – un portrait de l’education plein d’humour, de tendresse et de chagrin.
