Résumés Rattachées aux départements d’Études Romanes, les Études Francophones en Allemagne ont un statut extrêmement complexe et s’inscrivent dans de nombreuses tendances dans la conjoncture mondiale du savoir. Afin d’analyser le statut des Études Francophones en Allemagne, il convient, dans un premier mouvement, de tenir compte de la situation privilégiée qui résulte de l’amitié franco-allemande et des nombreuses initiatives également dans le domaine de l’enseignement secondaire et postsecondaire qui en découlent. Le présent texte situe les Études Francophones dans une perspective historique. En partant de l’histoire de la «Romanistique » allemande et de la présence de cette histoire de nos jours, notre étude présente le cadre historique dont émergent les Études Francophones. Dans un deuxième temps, en tenant compte des thèses de doctorat consacrées aux Études Francophones ces dernières années et des ateliers organisés autour de la Francophonie dans les réunions annuelles des romanistes de langue allemande, nous nous attachons à présenter le lent processus de consolidation des Études Francophones en Allemagne.
