De l’équivoque du désir d’enfant dans Vous m’avez fait former des fantômes d’Hervé Guibert
Bibliographic record
Abstract
In 1987, Herve Guibert published his “Sadian” novel Vous m’avez fait former des fantomes . This violent and unsettling novel stages sordid bullfights and clandestine combats where children, the object of a radical erotic desire, appear to be both victims and torturers--animals to train or dangerous beasts to shoot down. Never has Guibert gone so far in representing violence and into fiction. Through the textual manifestations of the gaze and of animality, this article will study the various reversals by which the hunted and tamed child becomes an overwhelming danger. By focussing on the figure of the “infanteros” (child toreros) in this text, this study proposes to examine the equivocal status of childhood as both an object of desire and a place from which the subject speaks, in Guibert’s work.

Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from itClassification
