Réalisé en 1958 par Claude Jutra, Félix Leclerc, troubadour est sans contredit le film phare de la série documentaire « Profils et paysages », produite par l’Office national du film du Canada à la fin des années 1950 et au début des années 1960. Destinée à mettre en valeur les artistes et les intellectuels canadiens-français dans l’intimité de leurs « paysages intérieurs », la série repose sur la connivence entre le cinéaste et le sujet filmé, de même que sur l’authenticité du témoignage livré par celui-ci. Reprenant ce cadre classique pour mieux le renverser, Jutra fera plutôt de Félix Leclerc, troubadour un intriguant docu-fiction, où est développée une réflexion intermédiale sur le cinéma, la poésie et la chanson. Avec l’analyse méthodique des différents modes d’énonciation du film, notre article entend faire la lumière sur cette rencontre interdisciplinaire entre l’univers de Leclerc et celui de Jutra.
