Abstract
Les clausules fondées sur le rythme accentuel tissent des réseaux de récurrences dans la plus grande partie du récit de Philétas et soulignent sa structure, sans que cela exclue la présence des rythmes anciens. Ainsi, les propos d’Éros sont une ode en melê apolelumena (métrique iambique, échos formels entre débuts et fins de séries de strophes, et équilibres numériques entre certaines strophes) et, en même temps, des récurrences de finales accentuelles de côla soulignent les articulations du discours. Ailleurs prédomine soit l’usage concerté des rythmes anciens – liés à l’évocation du passé de Philétas et à la bucolique ancienne – soit des échos de rythmes accentuels – quand il est question de l’enfant Eros, parangon d’une poétique moderne de la pastorale.
