Abstract
sociologa ambiental como desde sectores pblicos y privados.Tambin la legislacin vigente reconoce la necesidad de participacin ciudadana como principio bsico del proceso y exige una atencin a las consecuencias que sobre la poblacin tenga el proyecto evaluado.La presente investigacin estudia el modo en que esta exigencia se incorpora actualmente en el procedimiento tcnico-administrativo de EIA en la Comunidad Valenciana, mediante el anlisis de contenido de los expedientes EIA finalizados durante 2014-2015.Se examinan, entre otras cuestiones, la tipologa de elementos sociales evaluados y el rigor tcnico en el anlisis social.Este trabajo revela importantes deficiencias metodolgicas y carencias en la profundidad de la atencin recibida por parte de los aspectos sociales en este tipo de procedimientos de evaluacin.
