Elle semble neanmoins s'inscrire au sein de l'ensemble de textes evangeliques qui furent donnes par l'editeur au tout debut des annees 1530 et repondre a la volonte des Reformateurs de mettre a la disposition du lectorat des textes theologiques en francais.
