Abstract
This article presents the results of the study “The Self-Actualization and Self-Efficacy of Quebec Seniors in a Ludic Context of Learning a Foreign Language.” The evaluation of the effects of the Pian, piano si va lontano piano program on the self-actualization and the self-efficacy of the study participants was carried out through measures taken before and after the participation in the program. Descriptive and inferential analyses were conducted. The data analysis indicated the ludic Italian learning program had positive effects on self-actualization and self-efficacy in the experimental group. In an increasingly aging society, this research finds its relevance in the production of useful knowledge to support the maintenance of active aging through a meaningful and captivating project that offers insights into the most appropriate modalities in a seniors’ education context.
