Abstract
Le soleil joue un role important voire crucial dans le roman L’Etranger de Camus. Dans deux des trois evenements majeurs autour desquels s’articule le roman, le soleil a une symbolique marquee qui est etroitement liee a la souffrance et surtout a la mort. En outre, le soleil est aussi dote de significations profondes qui sous-tendent des reflexions philosophiques sur l’existence de l’homme dans la societe.
