Abstract
Le présent article a pour objet la présentation sommaire d’une recherche doctorale basée sur la psychanalyse et la méthodologie de la théorisation enracinée, et portant sur les interinfluences entre le devenir père et l’historicité. Ce terme désigne ici le bagage conscient, préconscient et inconscient issu de l’histoire singulière qui a contribué au développement identitaire, et à ses effets dans l’actuel. La première partie de l’article met en contexte l’émergence du sujet de recherche et la collecte des données. Elle est suivie de la présentation de quelques concepts sensibilisateurs et de la méthodologie utilisée. Puis, la présentation des deux catégories centrales constituant les résultats de l’analyse qualitative sert d’assise aux propositions conceptuelles explicitées dans un dernier temps. L’article met en lumière comment l’histoire des devenants pères rejaillit sous forme de reviviscences nécessaires à la construction de représentations psychiques d’un projet de famille idéale et à l’émergence de l’identité paternelle.
