Nouvelle edition mise a jour Tout ce que vous voulez savoir sur l'histoire du Quebec ou du Canada?; ce qu'on ne vous a pas enseigne ou ce que vous avez oublie. Ce qu'on ne vous a pas dit non plus, tout simplement parce que les etudes en cause n'etaient pas encore disponibles. Pour cette nouvelle edition de Canada-Quebec, la production historienne des quarante dernieres annees a ete mise a contribution. Le texte de base a ete mis a jour et on y retrouve plus de 400 gloses sous forme de commentaires, de precisions, d'explications ou de references. Il s'agit de la version finale du trio d'historiens. Ouvrage original d'une formule inedite, Canada-Quebec, 1534-2015 se presente comme une source exceptionnelle d'informations. Sa structure chronologique et son index complet, le tout ecrit dans une langue claire et precise, font de lui un precieux outil de reference. Canada-Quebec, 1534-2015 propose une histoire vraie, solidement documentee, qui renvoie aux plus recents et aux meilleurs travaux historiques. Historien a plein temps, vulgarisateur et chercheur, Jacques Lacoursiere a signe une oeuvre monumentale qui rappelle celle de Francois-Xavier Garneau. Conferencier recherche, animateur de radio et de television, il est devenu l'historien le plus connu et sans doute le plus lu au Quebec. Jean Provencher s'est egalement consacre entierement a l'histoire. Il a releve d'innombrables defis de recherche qui vont d'une passionnante enquete sur les emeutes de Quebec de 1918 a une biographie de Rene Levesque. Son oeuvre maitresse, unique en son genre et dont le succes ne se dement pas, reste Les Quatre Saisons. Ne dit-on pas Les Quatre Saisons de Provencher?? Denis Vaugeois, pour sa part, partage son temps entre l'edition et la recherche. Il est le principal responsable de la presente mise a jour de Canada-Quebec, 1534-2015.
