Drilling and operations overview of the Mallik 2002 Production Research Well Program
Bibliographic record
Abstract
Three wells, named JAPEX/JNOC/GSC et al. Mallik 3L-38, 4L-38, and 5L-38, were drilled through gas hydrate layers at depths of approximately 900 - 1100m beneath 600mof permafrost on a line at 40 m spacing, at the Mackenzie Delta, Northwest Territories, Canada. Coring, logging, various scientific experiments, and production testing were performed over a 79 day period from December 25, 2001 to March 14, 2002. The Geological Survey of Canada co-ordinated the research program among the participants from five countries. The Japan National Oil Corporation along with Japan Petroleum Exploration Co. co-ordinated the operation. JAPEX Canada Ltd. acted as the legal operator in Canada, with Canadian Petroleum Engineering Inc. as consultants. All scheduled programs were completed within the limited window of one winter season, a result of the careful planning, efficient logistical preparation during the previous summer, and well organized daily activities throughout the operation.
Fetched live from OpenAlex and de-inverted. Abstracts are not stored in this database: the inverted indexes are 8.6 GB of the frame’s 9.3 GB of text, and the host has 13 GB free.

Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from itClassification
machine, unvalidatedMachine predicted; a candidate call from one teacher head, not a consensus.
