Abstract
Le terme « inflation normative » semble viser une generalisation, vers l'ensemble du droit, de la notion d'inflation legislative, definie comme l'accroissement disproportionne du nombre et de la longueur des lois. Comme pour l'inflation monetaire, la surabondance des signes risque d'entrainer leur devaluation (Carbonnier). S'agit-il d'une maladie benigne ou du symptome d'une pathologie systemique de l'Etat ? Est-elle est specifique a notre epoque ou etait-elle deja connue auparavant ? Ses effets se declareraient–ils uniformement a travers le droit ou dans certains secteurs plus que dans d'autres ? Si tant est que l'inflation normative provoque des effets pernicieux qui doivent retenir l'attention, il faut en determiner l'origine ou les causes et s'interroger sur des correctifs qui ont ete essayes ou qui pourraient l'etre.
