Regional variation in structural style, deformation kinematics, and summary of tectonic history, northeast Ellesmere Island
Bibliographic record
Abstract
Major features of northeastern Ellesmere Island include faulted Paleoproterozoic basement to the south (uplifted to 2300 m); a narrow, low-relief belt of steep faults and gently inclined lower Paleozoic craton cover that extends under an arcuate, southerly to southeasterly transported, foreland thrust ("foothills") belt involving Ordovician - Devonian shelf strata, and Paleocene, orogen-derived conglomerate; a similarly arcuate "front range" belt of en échelon thrusts carrying Neoproterozoic to Devonian strata; a high-relief (to 2000 m) "main range" fold belt of cleaved Neoproterozoic to Cambrian outer-shelf strata; and an interior plateau featuring cleaved and tightly folded lower Paleozoic basinal deposits. The "main ranges" terminate along strike to the northeast in a braided sinistral fault array parallel to Nares Strait. Displacement on sinistral faults is kinematically linked to "front range" and foreland restraining bend thrusts. Early-formed folds and thrusts within the sinistral fault array have been rotated counterclockwise during northerly directed Late Paleocene - Eocene indentation of the Greenland plate.
Fetched live from OpenAlex and de-inverted. Abstracts are not stored in this database: the inverted indexes are 8.6 GB of the frame’s 9.3 GB of text, and the host has 13 GB free.

Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from itClassification
machine, unvalidatedMachine predicted; a candidate call from one teacher head, not a consensus.
