Regional structural and metamorphic geology of the Committee Bay Belt, Laughland Lake area, central mainland, Nunavut
Bibliographic record
Abstract
The Committee Bay Belt (NTS 56 K) exhibits northeast-southwest-oriented, variably dipping foliations and shallow lineations that trend east-west near the Amer and Walker Lake shear zones. Supracrustal rocks preserve an early ((?)Archean) greenschist-amphibolite-grade metamorphic assemblage, overgrown by later ((?)Proterozoic), comparable metamorphic minerals. The earliest deformation phase (D 1 ) is recorded by rare isoclinal folds (F 1 ) of bedding. D 2 generated tight, north- east-southwest-trending, doubly plunging F 2 folds of a composite S 0 -S 1 foliation. An S 2 transposition foliation developed preferentially in the limbs of kilometre-scale folds, whereas L 2 extension was widespread. D 3 generated warps, with north-northwest axial planes, of the composite S 1 -S 2 fabric and of the Amer and Walker Lake shear zones. D 2 accompanied northwest-southeast shortening, motion along both above-mentioned shear zones, and the generation of a large, sigmoidal feature (about 70 km wide) wherein northeast-trending structures rotate into the bounding east-west-trending shear zones. This deformation was probably Paleoproterozoic.

Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from itClassification
machine, unvalidatedMachine predicted; a candidate call from one teacher head, not a consensus.
