Triassic stratigraphy in the subsurface of the plains area of Dawson Creek (93P) and Charlie Lake (94A) map areas, northeast British Columbia
Bibliographic record
Abstract
Triassic strata in the plains of map areas 93P and 94A thicken from about 325 m in the northeast to over 1100 m in the southwest, and comprise the Montney, Doig, Halfway, Charlie Lake, Baldonnel, and Pardonet formations. The Montney, Doig, and Halfway formations are predominantly siliciclastic, and include shale, siltstone, and sandstone beds. Charlie Lake strata consist of interbedded shale, dolostone, anhydrite and sandstone, with some locally preserved salt beds. Dolomitic limestone to calcareous dolostone is present in the Baldonnel Formation and calcareous shale to argillaceous limestone make up the Pardonet Formation. Montney, Doig and Halfway strata represent a series of westerly to southwesterly prograding transgressive-regressive sequences, deposited as marine-shelf to shoreface beds. Charlie Lake strata are dominated by lagoonal to sabkha-type deposits, whereas the Baldonnel and Pardonet formations are the open-marine deposits of a carbonate shelf. A number of basin-scale unconformities are present in the Triassic succession, cutting down to the east. These are interpreted as the result of basin-margin uplift caused by fault activity. Most of these unconformities have been recognized previously, but one identifi ed in the upper part of the Charlie Lake Formation may be equivalent to the Jedney unconformity that was fi rst recognized in the Foothills. Also, correlations clearly show that the base of the Charlie Lake Formation is a major unconformity.

Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
score_only:v0-immature-baseline · verbatim from the scoring run: score_only means the number may rank works, and no category label ships from itClassification
machine, unvalidatedMachine predicted; a candidate call from one source (direct Gemma or distilled Codex), not a consensus.
