Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

Forty-eight wireline coreswere taken from depths of 885 to 1151min the JAPEX/JNOC/GSCet al. Mallik 5L-38 gas hydrate production research well. Approximately 192.6 m of core were retrieved, with 90% recovery in gas-hydrate-bearing sand and conglomerate, andmore variable recovery in gas-hydrate-free silt, organic silt, and sand below the gas hydrate stability zone at 1108 m. Cores were carefully described at the drill site within minutes of recovery to document gas hydrate character and abundance. An extensive sampling program supported time-sensitive core studies and a wide variety of physical property, geochemical, and microbiology studies. A miniature data logger installed within each core barrel provided a continuous record of core temperature and depth during coring operations. For gas-hydrate-bearing core, a substantial increase in the rate of core coolingwas observed upon exiting the gas hydrate stability field during transit. This additional core cooling was attributed to the endothermic dissociation of a small portion of the gas hydrate.

Fetched live from OpenAlex and de-inverted. Abstracts are not stored in this database: the inverted indexes are 8.6 GB of the frame’s 9.3 GB of text, and the host has 13 GB free.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
